Our specialized unit for Intermediate Care for individuals with intellectual disabilities provides comprehensive and highly structures programs to facilitate maximum independence in all facets of life. Our programming is developed for each client based on individual needs and strengths.
Clients participate in special group programming and day trips.
Anyone who has a diagnosis of Intellectual Disability or a related condition may be admitted to this unique unit. A person is determined to have an intellectual disability if their intellectual functioning level (IQ) is below 70-75; significant limitations exist in adaptive skill areas; and the condition is present from childhood (defined as age 18 or less).
We provide 24-hour nursing services with an individualized plan of care.
