Shift: 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) or 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) with On-call and Weekends required

Job Description

·         Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance at a specific location in order to perform assigned tasks

·         Support Services Specialist implements individual plans for the purpose of providing needed specific treatment in order to promote independent functioning on the residents

·         Acts as a liaison between residents and administrators

·         Supervises the activities of subordinates and volunteers to facilitate the delivery of services to residents

·         Recommends procedures affecting residents and their individual program

·         Endures resident safety at all times


·         Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or similar field

·         To be a Qualified Developmentally Disabled Professional QDDP per DHHS requirements

·         Two years of experience with program development in particular working with DD population

·         Demonstrate empathy and compassion to connect with residents

·         To have a valid driver license and be insurable
