Shift: 1st shift with flexible hours (20-25 hours weekly)

Job Description

  • Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance at Salon inside Pillar of Cedar Valley
  • Cuts, shapes, trims, and styles hair; shampoo hair, applies lather and shaves or trims beard or shapes hair contour (outline) on temple and neck; may relax, perm or color hair
  • Apply make-up, wax or tweeze facial hair if requested by resident
  • Keeps accurate records of procedures performed on residents
  • We provide all the materials, you provide the WOW 
  • Cleans work area and work tools
  • Clean work area and tools. Order supplies for Salon
  • Always assures resident safety and speak effectively with them

  Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Current license as a Cosmetologist or Barber in the State of Iowa
